One of the important differences about Foundation Trusts is
their responsibilities to the local people who become members of
the Trust.
You can be a member if you live in the areas served by the
Trust, have been a patient or carer of a patient who has used our
services or you are a member of staff.
All Members will:
- Receive regular information relating to the Trust
- Be invited to Member events and
annual meetings
- Help shape the future direction of
the Trust through consultation and other feedback mechanisms
- Be involved on issues of service
development, improvement and change by representing patient/public
or staff on working groups
- Be eligible to stand for election to
represent the views of Members on the Council of Members
- Elect Members as Governors on the Council of Members.
