Foundation Trust Consultation March to June 2008 – Your
Comments
As part of our application
to become a foundation trust we undertook a formal consultation
with patients, public, stakeholders, partners and staff on our
plans for the future, proposals for membership and the proposed
composition of our Council of Members. Formal responses were
received from more than 100 individuals and organisations. Feedback
was received from over 100 people at public meetings and events.
281 staff attended open meetings in addition to the formal staff
consultation meetings.
The Trust received overwhelming support for its future plans and
positive comments about the vision and values and supporting goals.
There were two main areas of concern relating to representation
from South Staffordshire on the Council of Members as both an
elected and appointed governor. In response to these comments the
composition of the Council has been amended,
