Outstanding
achievements of staff at The Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS
Trust were recognised at an awards ceremony on Friday (April
27).
The annual Royal Awards recognise the contribution of staff to the
work of the Trust and honour individuals and teams whose
exceptional performance has made a real difference to services for
patients.

The categories include Patient Safety,
Health Outcomes, Quality, Partnership Working, User Involvement,
Support Services, Outstanding Customer Service, Education,
Leadership, Research, and Innovation.
In addition, a Public Award was given to the member of staff who
received the most inspiring nomination from the public, and a 100
Club Award honoured the individual or team that demonstrates
ten-out of-ten for energy and attitude in their daily role.
The Chief Executive of the Trust, David Loughton CBE, also
presented two special Chief Executiveing an individual who has
demonstrated a lifetime of service to the NHS, and a team that
delivered an extended service with less than 24 hours
David said: awards are those who go the extra mile and make a
real difference to patients - whether in a direct care role or a
support service behind the scenes. The awards are an opportunity
for us to recognise their achievements and publicly acknowledge
their outstanding contribution to the work of the organisation.
Capacity Manager, Linda Majhu won the individual award for her
outstanding hard work, professionalism and contribution to patient
care over many years in the organisation., It
