The Chaplaincy Team

faiths

Chaplains of Christian Denominations and other Faiths are available for spiritual and pastoral help and support.

We are based in the chaplaincy office which is currently situated down the main hospital corridor at New Cross Hospital. If no one is in the office then please ask a member of staff to page the on call chaplain.

Chaplains visit the wards on a regular basis, however, if you would like to see a chaplain immediately please contact the team on 01902 695098 or call ext. 5098. Altenatively please ask a member of staff to page the on-call Chaplain.

The Chapel / Prayer Room

The Hospital Chapel / Prayer Room is open daily for prayer and quiet.

There is a Service of Holy Communion each Sunday at 9.30am

There is a Roman Catholic Mass each Thursday at 1.00pm.

Muslim Friday Prayers also take place weekly in the prayer room situated by the old Blue Ribbon Restaurant (by the east entrance)

Patients can be escorted to the Chapel/ Prayer Room by volunteers, with ward staff permission.

All are welcome
